The 18-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season at Leeds but was unable to help Daniel Farke's side reach the Premier League at the first time of asking after a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/leeds-adam-armstrong-fires-southampton-championship-play-off-final-victory-ethan-ampadu-mistake-daniel-farke-blow-final-chance-premier-league-return/blt7d4bc201d700015c" target="_blank">Championship play-off final loss to Southampton.</a> The England Under-21 international is wanted by a host of Premier League sides, which, now according to <a href="https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive-man-utd-exploring-most-controversial-signing-years-tactics-secure-leeds-transfer-revealed" target="_blank">TEAMtalk</a>, includes the Red Devils.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Leeds reportedly want at least <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-leicester-kiernan-dewsbury-hall-enzo-maresca-brighton/blt970ba72328e78d73#csf91998424b37729a" target="_blank">£30 million ($38m)</a> for Gray, as they try to not fall afoul of profit and sustainability rules. However, the report adds the Championship outfit are not desperate to sell the youngster and he will only leave if an ideal opportunity comes along.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Gray, who is the fourth member of his wider family to represent Leeds over the years, is predominantly a midfielder but spent most of this season at right-back. The Leeds ace racked up 52 appearances in all competitions in 2023-24.
