If the Blues agree to the striker's demands, it would make him highest-earning player in the Premier League. However, it is unlikely that the English giants would be willing to pay such a massive sum to the Nigerian forward.

Chelsea are looking to reduce their wage bill this season, which is one of the main reasons they have decided to offload Raheem Sterling. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-pushing-for-victor-osimhen-loan-deal-despite-napoli-insisting-pathway-is-blocked/bltb42e1247d4beec8a" target="_blank">The club have been negotiating with Napoli and Osimhen's representatives</a> throughout the summer but failed to reach an agreement. They had initially offered a loan deal to Napoli as they were not willing to match the player's release clause which is set at €130 million (£110m/$145m).

However, his move to Stamford Bridge will depend upon whether he would agree to reduce his wage demands. Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on signing the forward, while Arsenal are said to be hovering in the background, as they continue to monitor his situation.
