Juventus and Roma will renew their intense rivalry when the top two sides in Serie A last season meet in the International Champions Cup in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Sunday.
The Bianconeri claimed a sixth successive Scudetto in May, with a 3-0 win over Crotone, but they will not have forgotten that they missed the chance to wrap up the title the weekend before at the Stadio Olimpico, where they were beaten 3-1 by the Giallorossi.

As a result, Massimiliano Allegri's men will no doubt be looking to lay down an early marker this weekend, with the start of the new Serie A season just three weeks away.

These two sides have developed a deep animosity for one another over the past few years that was perhaps best summed up by Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
"I hate Juventus, always," the Belgian stated in February. "I hate them because they always win with a penalty or a free-kick.
"I came to Roma to win something against Juventus."
Ibrahimovic to snub LA for Man Utd stay?
Nainggolan has yet to achieve that goal and while there is no prize on offer on Sunday, one can be sure that the in-demand midfielder will not only be desperate to play but to win.
Roma will certainly go into the game on a high after their 3-2 win over Tottenham, particularly as there has been growing unrest among the fans over the quality of the club's summer signings.
However, Juve impressed themselves in their own 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, which came courtesy of a last-gasp penalty from Marchisio.
With some high-profile acquisitions set to return to their starting line-up, the Bianconeri will be confident of giving Nainggolan and Roma even more reason to dislike them when they meet on Sunday.
