<p>Ronaldo was the only Portugal international to be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/biggest-flop-cristiano-ronaldo-unwanted-euro-2024-tag-goalless-campaign-portugal-backed-history-2026-world-cup/bltea8cfda8efe1e735" target="_blank">named in Marca's worst XI</a>. The 39-year-old made five appearances at Euro 2024 but did not manage to score, although he did pick up one assist.
