The Brazilian has the shirt number currently and may be unwilling to give it up. However, given <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/luka-modric-in-his-final-months-at-real-madrid-told-he-will-not-be-given-a-new-contract/blt97fa57d9bcd407a4" target="_blank">Luka Modric is set to leave at the end of the season</a>, the number 10 will be free for Mbappe.
