Bayern have tabled a second bid for Trippier, per <a href="https://twitter.com/Plettigoal/status/1749826474809426235?t=ydpbcGM_f6OaBMQRRcVB2g&amp;s=19" target="_blank">Florian Plettenberg</a>, having seen their first offer rejected last week. However, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpbB-yUBThU#:~:text=►%20Subscribe%20to%20Sky%20Sports,the%20region%20of%20£13m." target="_blank">Sky</a> reports that the offer has been snubbed, with Newcastle digging their heels in over their right-back. Reports have suggested that Trippier has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/harry-kane-reunion-kieran-trippier-agrees-bayern-munich-move-newcastle-reject-first-bid/blt3bee9a10a6859479#cs9fc0fd385333b89e" target="_blank">already agreed terms over the move</a>, which would reunite him with former Tottenham team-mates Harry Kane and Eric Dier.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Trippier has endured a difficult season in 2023/24, although he remains indispensable to Eddie Howe's side. He has made 19 appearances this season and has only been absent when either injured or suspended. His contract runs until 2025, so this may be one of the last chances Newcastle have to receive a major fee.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Trippier, Kane and Dier were integral to both Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino and England at the 2018 World Cup. All three players scored from the penalty spot when the Three Lions beat Colombia in a shootout six years ago.

DID YOU KNOW?

There is little he can do to force a move if Newcastle are not willing to sell, even if he has agreed terms with Bayern. He may well be forced to wait until the summer for any move, although that would take a change of heart from the Magpies' hierarchy.
