However, Sky Sports journalist <a href="https://x.com/Plettigoal/status/1791884146656075963" target="_blank">Florian Plettenberg</a> has now claimed that the Bavarian club are considering appointing De Zerbi as their next head coach. The German giants, who finished third in the Bundesliga this season, are yet to finalise Thomas Tuchel's successor, although the current manager's departure was announced three months back.

According to <a href="https://x.com/cfbayern/status/1791891892398887339" target="_blank">Christian Falk</a>, the former German champions are currently linked with moves for managers like Roger Schmidt, Hansi Flick, Zinedine Zidane and Jose Mourinho.
