Asahi Super Dry takes over Manchester as title-chasing City look to extend domination over United in huge month of derby action

For years City’s men have commanded the pitch. Fourteen trophies since 2018 while the Red Devils have just one to show. With Asahi’s Manchester takeover, that Domination starts from arrival. Piccadilly Station is iconic for both sets of fans, just three stops away from the famed Etihad Stadium. With that in mind, Asahi have taken over every media space within the famous location to send a not-so-subtle reminder to visiting United supporters. That Manchester is blue – and silver.

For match-going Cityzens, no trip is complete without a visit to The Waldorf pub. And Asahi is taking over that last leg, too. ‘We all follow the City, over land and sea’ – including to and from the Etihad. Trams connecting supporters to that eagerly anticipated journey will be wrapped with Asahi Super Dry panelling, reminding supporters of One City, One Love, but ultimately, One Game.
