PDRM FA Honorary Secretary, ACP Zulkefly Yahya has confirmed that the Cops will stick to Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka as their home ground for the upcoming Premier League season.
PDRM used the stadium as their home venue last season and despite their efforts to try to find a much closer venue for the team, Zulkefly admitted they will remain at Melaka as they prefer to play at night rather than in the afternoon.
“We will retain the Hang Jebat Stadium as our home ground. Last year we were there, and we tried to find a closer venue but we will remain there because it is too difficult to find a new place.
“The reason we want to remain in Melaka is because we want to play at night. For the first three games, we will try to search for other options (Hang Jebat is under renovation for the first few 2017 matches), perhaps the Proton Stadium in Tanjung Malim, Perak.

“But our first choice is to play at Hang Jebat at night. That’s the reason why we choose to stay there," he said following his team's 5-0 win against Kelantan in a pre-season friendly on Friday.
Zulkefly added that they considered the travelling aspect when choosing the venue, and they also had other options to play in Klang Valley, but they do not want to play in the aftenoon.
Speaking on his squad, Zulkefly confirmed that they have registered 31 players for the Premier League next season.
“We have registered 31 players, three from our President 's Cup side, and that also include our four import players for this season,” added Zulkefly.
