- United find new shirt sponsor in Snapdragon
- Set to replace current one TeamViewer
- World-record deal worth £60m ($74.83m) a year
WHAT HAPPENED? United have found a new shirt sponsor for the 2024-25 season in Snapdragon. The Red Devils' current shirt sponsor is TeamViewer, which signed a five-year deal in 2021 but both parties agreed to end their deal prematurely. This new arrangement with Snapdragon, whose parent company is Qualcomm, represents a significant increase on the club's £47m ($58.6m) a year contract with German company TeamViewer.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: This news comes less than two months after United announced a record-breaking 10-year kit deal with adidas, which is worth £900m ($1.1b). Despite the protests for the Glazers to leave, these deals show the club is still an attractive asset. TeamViewer had reportedly come under pressure to end the five-year £235m ($293.1m) arrangement with United during the coronavirus pandemic. Fast forward to the present, and the company have now become a global partner with the club.

WHAT NEXT? After the international break, the spotlight will be back on United on the pitch when they host Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
