<p>Rashford has fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford and was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jubilant-man-utd-fans-predict-marcus-rashford-wycombe-next-ruben-amorim-hailed-making-major-statement-dropping-bloody-awful-forward-man-city/blt3012fa0fba45c06e" target="_blank">dropped from the matchday squad for the Manchester derby</a> on Sunday. There have been suggestions of the Red Devils planning to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/revealed-man-utd-determined-force-marcus-rashford-out-cultural-reboot-ruben-amorim-sir-jim-ratcliffe-january-transfer-ideal/blt12a3e4b84c7f787f" target="_blank">offload him in the January transfer window to start a 'cultural reboot' </a>at the club and improve standards that have slipped in recent years.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Amid speculation over his future at his boyhood club, the forward has now revealed that he is prepared to exit his beloved Old Trafford and accept a 'new challenge' in his career. After graduating from United's youth academy, Rashford made his senior professional debut in 2015 under then-manager Louis van Gaal.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>In a chat with journalist <a href="https://x.com/henrywinter/status/1869093724103602178" target="_blank"><em>Henry Winter</em></a>, the 27-year-old said: "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.</p><p>"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."</p><p>He added: "I’m halfway through my career. I don’t expect my peak to be now. I've had nine years so far in the Premier League and that’s taught me a lot, that’s helped me grow as a player and as a person.</p><p>"So I don't have any regrets from the last nine years. I won’t have any regrets going forward because I take things day by day and sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes good things happen. I just try and keep a fine balance. 100%. That's my mentality."</p><p>When asked if he would always be a red at heart, Rashford quickly responded: "Yes! 100%. 100%."</p>

WHAT MARCUS RASHFORD SAID

<p>Ruben Amorim's side will be back in action this Thursday as they take on Tottenham Hotspur in a Carabao Cup quarter-final clash. It remains to be seen if the Portuguese coach will decide to include Rashford in the matchday squad.</p>
