WHAT FLETCHER SAID

<p>Wrexham's win saw the Welsh side cut the gap on League Two leaders Stockport County to two points as the latter suffered a 2-0 loss to Mansfield, who are now second in the table. Wrexham have a game in hand over Stockport, but Mansfield, who are level on points with the Red Dragons, have played two fewer matches.</p>

<p>Wrexham will hope to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup when they visit League One team Shrewsbury Town on January 7. They will then return to League Two duty when they meet Wimbledon on January 13.</p>
