The club appointed Parkinson as their manager in the summer of 2021, and since then he has led the club to a record-breaking title win in the National League and now their automatic promotion to the the third tier of English football.

Wrexham can still make it two league title wins in two years as they sit second in League Two. However, it will <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/what-wrexham-need-league-two-promotion-permutations-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-league-one/blt382bfb82c6b48faf#cs2d4143892303603d" target="_blank">depend entirely on a potential collapse by league leaders Stockport County</a> in their final three games of the season. Stockport currently sit four points clear of Parkinson's side and also have a game in hand over the Red Dragons.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Red Dragons only have two more games remaining in their League Two campaign starting with Crewe Alexandra on April 22. They end the campaign with a potential league title-deciding clash against Stockport County on April 27.
