<p>The Reds have initiated <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-kostas-tsimikas-futures-mohamed-salah-trent-alexander-arnold-virgil-van-dijk-amid-contract-uncertainty/blt388cfc192b8d804d" target="_blank">contract talks with three star players</a>, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who are in the final years of their respective contracts. <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/31605040/trent-alexander-arnold-contract-talks-liverpool-wages/" target="_blank">According to The Sun</a>, while talks have progressed with Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold remains far from agreeing on a new deal. The report further adds that the club are unwilling to pay the full-back more than Salah and Van Dijk, who currently earn £350,000 and £220,000, respectively.</p>

<p>The English defender, on the other hand, has offers from Paris Saint-Germain and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-give-up-trent-alexander-arnold-sell-real-madrid-january-contract-expiry/blt924845e9a6f2011c" target="_blank">Real Madrid</a>. If he decides to move to either of the two European giants, he could earn much more than what the Premier League side is offering him at the moment. The 26-year-old is currently on a £180,000-a-week deal.</p>

<p>Salah, too, is far from committing his future to Liverpool. The Egyptian is expecting a significant rise in his pay in the new deal amid interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.
