<p>Laporte's goal extended Al-Nassr's lead to 3-0 against the MLS side. The Saudi Arabian team took the lead through Otavio just three minutes into the clash before Anderson Talisca made it 2-0 after just 10 minutes. Just two minutes after that, Laporte sent in the third. The Riyadh club were looking strong despite the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/why-cristiano-ronaldo-not-playing-al-nassr-lionel-messi-inter-miami/blt8fe789fa575dc4b5" target="_blank">absence of star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who had to pull out of the team</a>.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Their strong start against the American club will come as a big boost to Al-Nassr. They are preparing for an AFC Champions League knockout tie against fellow Saudi side Al-Feiha later in February, while Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami co-stars will feel they have much to improve on before they begin their MLS campaign on February 22.</p>
