<p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/joshua-zirkzee-manchester-united-transfer-bologna-striker-agree-deal/blt0c21ce27f1829f3a" target="_blank">Zirkzee has joined United from Bologna this summer</a>, while Mainoo was central to England's run to the Euro 2024 final, where they were beaten by Spain. To get there, the Three Lions beat his new team-mate's Dutch side in the semi-final. The pair are on holiday in Los Angeles - albeit separately - and United are also in the USA. They face Arsenal this weekend but neither player will be involved.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Mainoo and Zirkzee have each been granted extended leave after both players reached the last-four of the European Championship.
