<p>Sunderland are looking to make their way back to the Premier League after a nine-year absence and the Black Cats are currently fourth in the Championship after their 2-1 win over 10-man Norwich City at Stadium of Light - with Jobe scoring the winner in the 72nd minute right after Jose Cordoba’s red card. Le Bris has now praised the 19-year-old for his top performances this season and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jobe-bellingham-sunderland-future-hint-amid-talk-gbp30m-transfer-follow-brother-jude-s-footsteps-borussia-dortmund/blt7da0cce57c1dae95" target="_blank">opened up on the ability that he possesses</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Speaking to the media, Le Bris said: “Jobe is so powerful. He wants to affect the game, he had good quality today. It’s not a big surprise for us but you have to do it on the pitch. He did very well today to score the second goal.</p><p>“I don’t have to say to Jobe, ‘you can score’, it’s just now a question of his position. We talk now a lot about positions on the pitch because if he can manage different situations, he can be involved in the build-up, in the high pressure and low pressure. But if you want to affect the score properly, the opposition has to be a little bit higher on the pitch. We spoke a lot about this position for our eights, especially for Jobe because out of possession he plays as a six. So it’s not easy to find the right balance with the offensive part of the game.</p><p>“He played the first game of the season higher on the pitch like with two strikers, then as a midfielder. It was easier to find the right position and adjustment. I think he’s doing well. He learns so very quickly.”</p>

WHAT LE BRIS SAID

<p>When asked if <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jobe-bellingham-jude-real-madrid-star-younger-brother-borussia-dortmund-transfer-sunderland/blt6f7e1a2233bdfb2a" target="_blank">Jobe challenges him as a coach</a>, Le Bris added: “Good players are always challenging and it’s very positive for a coach because they are ambitious. They show this ambition every day on the pitch. It’s good for both parts because if the player and staff are like that, we are on the same page. We want to learn, we want to improve ourselves.</p><p>“We know that we have to be very clear with him because the feedback should be very accurate, he can understand very quickly if it’s true or not. It’s a gift to have these kinds of players.”</p>

<p>Jobe has been on top form for Sunderland and the England U21 star has been linked with a number of European clubs, including his <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/sunderland-warned-jobe-bellingham-wont-resist-borussia-dortmund-how-they-guided-brother-jude/blt99c99da986056245" target="_blank">brother Jude’s former team Borussia Dortmund</a>. The teenager will likely continue with Sunderland for the rest of the season before he decides what the future holds for him.</p>
