<p>The departure of the two men from the club's medical department comes as a surprise but has been described as a "coincidence" and not connected to the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/three-senior-executives-leave-man-utd-person-responsible-delivering-redundancies-ineos/bltc5cef65007094107" target="_blank">latest round of redundancies planned at Old Trafford</a> as part of Sr Jim Ratcliffe's cost-cutting drive, according to the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14486937/Man-United-sports-medicine-doctor-QUIT-Red-Devils-injury-crisis.html" target="_blank">Daily Mail</a>. O'Driscoll has decided it's the "right time" to move on after just 18 months at United, while Moxon is leaving after two years with the club to take up another opportunity.</p><p></p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/man-utd-stun-arsenal-poaching-key-member-mikel-arteta-staff-all-or-nothing-documentary/bltec7aaa05918c6a17" target="_blank">O'Driscoll arrived from Arsenal and his signing was seen as something of a coup</a> at the time by the Red Devils. He had spent 16 years with the Gunners and his importance to the club had been seen in the&nbsp;recent 'All or Nothing' documentary. Yet despite his arrival, United have been hit with huge injury problems and have been without a host of key players for long periods in recent seasons, including the likes of Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Lisandro Martinez, Amad Diallo and Kobbie Mainoo.</p>
