Following tests on Thursday, it was confirmed that the 22-year-old had suffered a muscular injury to the biceps femoris of his left leg.</p>

WHAT REAL MADRID SAID

<p>Camavinga’s injury rules him out for almost two to three weeks of action and means he will miss three crucial La Liga matches against Getafe, Athletic Club, and Girona, as well as a pivotal Champions League clash with Atalanta on December 10. However, the former Rennes star is optimistic about a potential return in time for Real Madrid’s league encounter with Rayo Vallecano on December 14.</p>

<p>This is not Camavinga’s first injury blow of the season. Earlier in the campaign, he missed 12 matches for club and country due to a left knee injury sustained in training ahead of Madrid’s UEFA Super Cup triumph over Atalanta in August.</p>
