Tottenham ready to fight for Scott McTominay after Man Utd reject two offers from Fulham

<p>McTominay has reportedly been placed on the transfer list by United and <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/55pouKimQMPzuzxD7e1ada" target="_blank">Duncan Castles, the Sunday Times journalist</a>, now reports that Spurs are interested in a deal to sign the Scotland international. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-za/lists/man-utd-scott-mctominay-fulham-increase-bid-erik-ten-hag-favourite/blt4c7a85de49a2cc08" target="_blank">Fulham have seen one bid for the midfielder rejected already this summer and have returned with a new offer of £20 million</a> ($26m), although United are holding out for £40m ($51m).</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Spurs will play in the Europa League next season, but there is said to be rival interest from West Ham as well as Fulham. It remains to be seen if McTominay would be willing to move, but his contract expires next summer, and Spurs may look to drive his price down as a result. </p>

<p>McTominay scored 10 goals in all competitions last season for United and represented Scotland at Euro 2024, scoring once at the tournament as his side were eliminated at the group stages.</p>
