Plettenburg notes that it will be a six-month loan, with "only small details to be clarified" until it is made official. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite offloading a significant portion of deadwood - <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/anthony-martial-fenerbahce-submit-offer-edge-ahead-inter-transfer-race/blt366f2530279a606a" target="_blank">alongside fellow flop Anthony Martial</a> - the deal is not entirely positive for United. The same report from the Daily Mail notes that the club will have to fork out a third of Sancho's near £300,000 ($381,000)-a-week salary, meaning they will be paying Dortmund up to £100,000 ($127,000) to have him off their hands.
