She was appointed shortly after Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased the club in November 2020. Robinson’s departure is another clear sign Wrexham are already preparing for life in League One following the conclusion of the regulation League Two season. Robinson told <a href="https://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/2024/may/fleur-robinson-to-leave-role-as-chief-executive/" target="_blank">Wrexham’s official website</a>: “It has been a privilege to lead Wrexham as CEO for past three years. I am proud that I leave the club in a much better position on and off the pitch than when I arrived.”Reynolds and McElhenney added: “We are extremely grateful for all that Fleur has done in transforming the club over the past couple of years and we wish her every success with her future plans.”

WHAT ROBINSON, REYNOLDS AND MCELHENNEY SAID

With a spot in League One confirmed, the Wrexham hierarchy now need to work on <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jamie-vardy-join-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-wrexham-stunning-transfer-not-ruled-out-leicester-striker-free-agency/blt4dbc135605f990c6" target="_blank">potential summer transfers</a>, as well as the hiring of a new CEO, in order to maintain the club’s upward trajectory. The Red Dragons have confirmed that key trio Steven Fletcher, Mark Howard and Aaron James will be offered new contracts, while James McClean’s deal has been automatically extended for the 2024-25 season.
