Video: USMNT's Tim Ream scores first Charlotte FC MLS goal against CF Montreal

U.S. international Tim Ream scored his first MLS goal since 2010 to help Charlotte FC cut their deficit against CF Montreal to 2-1. It is the seventh league goal in Ream's storied career, where he's made stops with the New York Red Bulls, Bolton, Fulham and now Charlotte. In MLS, it's just the defender's second goal in the league -- his first was in his rookie season scored on Sept. 11, 2010 against the Rapids.

WATCH THE MOMENT

Charlotte is counting on Ream, 36, to provide veteran leadership from the center back spot as it fights to make the postseason. The team is winless since his arrival, notching a draw and loss in his first two games. CLTFC sit seventh in the Eastern Conference.

Ream scored the bulk of his goals at Fulham, scoring five across the Championship and Premier League for the club.
