<p>The Red Devils know all about the World Cup winner from his two previous stints at Old Trafford. He is a product of the club’s famed academy system and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/pogba-man-utd-way-wanted-belongs-juventus/blt3135c10b0043a5fe" target="_blank">took in over 220 appearances during a second spell in England</a> that came to a close in 2022.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Pogba returned to Juventus at that point, but has seen his <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/paul-pogba-warned-football-return-tough-18-months-out-man-utd-rumours-signing-free-agent/bltfc57278a80cdfd32" target="_blank">contract with the Serie A giants terminated</a> after being stung with a doping ban. That <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/explained-why-paul-pogba-doping-ban-reduced-cas-confirm-four-year-suspension-juventus-ex-man-utd-midfielder-cut-18-months/bltde5a6a37cc2133af" target="_blank">suspension has been reduced from four years to 18 months</a>, meaning that a professional career can be resumed in March 2025.</p>

The 1999 Treble winner said: “Could Paul Pogba still play for Manchester United? Paul Pogba can still play anywhere. He has such ability and is still a fantastic player who is now coming out of a sticky situation. </p><p>“He is a player who would make any team in the Premier League better, he won’t be struggling for a club that's for sure.
