WHAT HAPPENED?

Per <a href="https://x.com/Tanziloic/status/1815290300257964324" target="_blank">L'Equipe</a>, the Ligue 1 side will have to sell either Gancalo Ramos or Randal Kolo-Muani before proceeding with the signing of the Napoli ace. However, neither forward is ready to accept a departure from the Parc des Princes, and therefore the talks for the transfer of Osimhen have stalled.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

It is believed that Osimhen will not continue in Naples, where <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-romelu-lukaku-napoli-gbp100m-flop/blt19587c79938ac22e" target="_blank">Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku is a target</a>, but if PSG snooze for too long they could possibly lose out on his signature altogether with the Blues and some Saudi clubs also showing interest in his services.
