WHAT HAPPENED?

<p><a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/proud-fiancee-sam-kerr-watches-partner-uswnt-midfielder-kristie-mewis-assist-west-ham-debut/blt7b782ee530c5d518" target="_blank">Mewis’ partner, Chelsea superstar Sam Kerr</a> – who is currently working her way back from an ACL injury – was among those in attendance for a derby date in east London. She saw <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/watch-debut-assist-kristie-mewis-uswnt-star-tees-up-west-ham-team-mate-amber-tysiak-score-free-kick-wsl/blt3c91df3a83fee6b1" target="_blank">Mewis register an assist</a>, but ultimately slip to an agonising 4-3 defeat.</p>

<p>The weather did neither side any good when West Ham faced Spurs, with Mewis struggling to take a corner at one stage.
