Despite having 63 percent possession and 15 shots to the visitors' five, Mikel Arteta's men claimed all three points. That led some Spurs supporters to accuse Postecoglou of "bending over" in the loss, while others felt it was unacceptable that they weren't progressing despite spending more than £350 million ($459m) since the Australian took charge in mid-2023.

WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING

The result leaves Tottenham 13th in the Premier League with four points from their opening four games. After just missing out on qualifying for the Champions League last season, pressure will be on the former Celtic boss to go one better this term. But this start appears to have many Spurs supporters fearing the worst going forward.
