Back in May, we saw adidas collaborate with Prada to introduce a limited edition football boot collection, binding together both brands' DNAs. The boots are sure to bring class and a sophisticated edge to any on-pitch look, but are they worth the money?
The collection saw the Predator Accuracy, Copa Pure and X Crazyfast get a limited-edition makeover through design details that are synonymous with Prada's Linea Rossa.
adidasCohesive design decisions bring together the three silos, as all of the boots have a lining and upper crafted with the finest leather. They also feature the bold red iconography of Linea Rossa, and a clean mono-colour base of black, white and silver.
adidasThe boots initially launched through the adidas confirmed app, then later released through Prada. The initial release saw a quick sell-out, however, some sizes of the boot are still sitting across the Prada website - it comes as no surprise with a price tag of £500. Though they are a strong contender for the best luxury football boot of 2023.
So, we put the adidas and Prada football boots to the test. From comfort to value for money, we take a deep dive into everything that makes this football boot stand out against the competition.
adidasHow we tested the boots:
We enlisted a helping hand from London-based boot reviewer @ljcollects to take the adidas x Prada football boots out on the pitch. We tasked @ljcollects with a list of questions, seeking everything from the boot's wearability to areas where they lack. Dribbling to shooting and everything in between, there’s nothing we didn’t try with these boots, giving you our most accurate review possible.
