David Luiz has trolled Porto after learning of rumours linking him with a summer transfer from Chelsea to the Portuguese outfit.
The Brazil international continues to see his future at Stamford Bridge called into question after falling out of favour under Antonio Conte.
It could be that the Italian moves on this summer, which could offer a clean slate to those he leaves behind.
For now, though, Luiz is sparking exit talk during the latest recruitment window.
Fresh speculation surrounding the 31-year-old defender has suggested that he could soon be heading back to Portugal.
Luiz took his first steps in European football with Benfica, spending four years with the Lisbon-based club on the back of an initial loan spell.
He still holds the club in the highest regard, with the platform they provided him with allowing him to become a player Chelsea signed for the first time in January 2011.
With those strong ties to Benfica in mind, Luiz has been left bemused by reports suggesting that he could link up with their fierce rivals at Porto.
He posted in an Instagram story: “The history of FC Porto is more of a newspaper lie, the same ones that ask for interviews many times !! Haha. BENFICA always in the heart !!!”
InstagramLuiz was brought back to Chelsea for a second spell in the summer of 2016.
He had spent two years with Paris Saint-Germain, collecting two Ligue 1 titles, but was re-signed by the Blues for £34 million (£45m).
A first Premier League title was delivered in 2016-17, but last season saw injuries and issues with Conte restrict him to just 17 appearances.
