The Italy international <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-confirm-gbp11m-signing-juventus-federico-chiesa-beating-barcelona-bargain-transfer/bltf53d5c3966805208" target="_blank">agreed to join the Premier League side</a> near the end of the summer transfer window in an £11 million ($14m) move after falling out of favour at the Serie A giants, with the Reds <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/federico-chiesa-barcelona-transfer-juventus-desperate-to-shift-winger/blt313089cb951c0687" target="_blank">beating competition from Barcelona for him</a>.

Chiesa and his wife, Lucia Bramani, traded the city of Turin for Liverpool and the latter seemed delighted by her new surroundings as she posted a video on social media from Anfield, expressing her happiness.

Chiesa, 26, was left out of the Italy national team for their upcoming matches against France and Israel, meaning he will have extra time to adapt to his new surroundings before possibly making his debut against Nottingham Forest on September 14.
