The German is said to be a huge admirer of the 27-year-old and believes a big part of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/sexy-football-back-england-inspiration-spain-euro-2024-preparing-2026-world-cup/bltea9e19a341775f12" target="_blank">England's failure to win Euro 2024</a> was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/marcus-rashford-jack-grealish-harry-maguire-26-man-england-squad-missed-out-euro-2024/blt4754f73f94946432" target="_blank">not having Rashford as an option</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Tuchel will take up his <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/thomas-tuchel-named-england-manager-ex-chelsea-bayern-munich-boss-oversee-bid-2026-world-cup-glory/bltfa32673f01069cf5" target="_blank">England manager role in January 2025</a>, with the goal of leading the Three Lions to World Cup glory in 2026. One of his many tasks will be getting the best out of Rashford, so long as the United man delivers on the pitch for the Red Devils. After not being selected for the Euros, Rashford will be determined to right the wrongs of 2024 when 2025 rolls around.</p>
