<p>According to Spanish publication <a href="https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20240826/1002304163/vinculan-nuevo-neymar-barca.html" target="_blank"><em>Mundo Deportivo</em></a>, Barca are on the lookout for a new left winger after missing out on Athletic Club's Nico Williams. This reportedly led the 32-year-old to offer his services to the La Liga team, but Flick's team are not considering the Brazil international.</p>

<p>Neymar has been out with an <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/neymar-al-hilal-brazil-star-acl-injury/bltb5208933103eb9f9" target="_blank">anterior cruciate ligament injury</a> since last October - a few months <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/al-hilal-confirm-90m-signing-neymar-psg/blt587c20f8af583167" target="_blank">after he left Paris Saint-Germain for Al-Hilal</a>. While he is inching closer to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/neymar-injury-recovery-update-brazilian-superstar-gym-saudi-pro-league-al-hilal-acl-nightmare/blt0533182f4e2a2803" target="_blank">getting back on the field</a>, the report adds there is no return date for the ex-Barca star, who is in the last year of his contract at the Saudi Pro League team. </p>
