Real Salt Lake's Andres Gomez appears to be close to a move to France's top flight.According to multiple reports, RSL and Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes have agreed to an $11 million move with potential add-ons. Should the move proceed through the contract and medical phase, it will be a well-earned transfer for the 21-year-old Colombian midfielder.Gomez is in the midst of a breakout 2024 campaign for RSL, dropping 13 goals and nine assists in just 23 matches played. Gomez joined RSL in a transfer from Colombian top side Millonarios FC before the 2023 season in a five-year deal. After finishing in the top four in the previous campaign, Les Rouges et Noirs wrapped up the following season midtable in 10th.
