Aston Villa's&nbsp;hopes of signing&nbsp;Leeds United's&nbsp;Kalvin Phillips have received a setback after they were quoted a fee of £30m for the midfielder, <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9353349/leeds-transfer-fee-kalvin-phillips-aston-villa/" target="_blank">as reported in the Sun</a>.&nbsp; The&nbsp;23-year-old is apparently keen to listen to Villa as they prepare to make their Premier League return but Leeds, who failed to go up, look to have priced Dean Smith's team out of the market.

Nottingham Forest&nbsp;are close to signing free agent Alan Hutton after the former Scotland full-back left&nbsp;Aston Villa, <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9353132/nottingham-forest-alan-hutton-aston-villa/" target="_blank">as reported by the Sun.</a> The 34-year-old former Tottenham defender is out of contract at newly promoted Villa but looks set to stay in the Midlands and to try and repeat the trick with Forest.&nbsp;

The Germany international was plagued by injury last season, making only 17 appearances for the Bianconeri. His injury problems and percieved inability to fit into the new coach's trademark Sarriball style spell the end for the former Real Madrid man, according to the report, though they acknowledge his wages may make a deal difficult.

Scottish champions Celtic expect to see their £25m ($32m) valuation for left-back Kieran Tierney met this summer. The club rejected a £15m bid from Arsenal on Saturday, but the <a href="https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/17724053.english-clubs-are-ready-to-meet-celtics-valuation-of-25m-for-kieran-tierney/" target="_blank">Glasgow Evening Times</a> reports that manager Neil Lennon would be 'surprised' if he doesn't move away from Glasgow. Everton, Leicester and Napoli are among the teams vying for the 22-year-old Scotland international according to the report.

The report says Odegaard was in San Sebastian to visit with the club, but that the deal to Leverkusen seems more likely for the Norwegian, who spent last season on-loan with Vitesse, appearing 31 times and scoring eight goals.

Australia Women's team star Sam Kerr has insisted she's happy playing for Chicago Red Stars in America after reports linked her with a big money move to Chelsea, with a £1m contract being mooted. PSG and Brazil defender Marquinhos has said he and Neymar don't talk about rumours linking the forward with a move away from Paris. The worlds most expensive player has been linked with a move back to Barcelona, and to arch-rivals Real Madrid, but his club and international team-mate said it wasn't a topic for the pair when the injured Neymar visited Brazil's Copa America camp. "Is he moving? We don't talk about it, it's a delicate situation," Marquinhos said as shown on <a href="https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11747172/marquinhos-quizzed-on-neymar-barca-move" target="_blank">Sky Sports</a>.

Former England 'keeper Joe Hart will be allowed to leave Burnley on a free transfer and Champions League club Lille could be a landing spot. Lille may sell cuurent No. 1 Mike Maignan this summer and would consider the 32-year-old as a replacement, according to the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7170599/Joe-Hart-lured-Lille-told-leave-Burnley-free.html" target="_blank">Daily Mail</a>. It would be a shock return to Europe's premier club competition for Hart, who has had a tough few years since being replaced at Manchester City, appearing for Torino and West Ham as well as Burnley in the last three seasons.
