Manchester United's worst Premier League defeats

Man Utd's worst-ever defeat in the Premier League are both 5-0 losses to Newcastle and Chelsea, in 1996 and 1999 respectively.

Other noteworthy losses are the infamous 6-1 derby defeat to Man City in 2011, and the 6-1 hammering by Tottenham in 2020. In October 2021, Liverpool registered a shock 5-0 win over the Red Devils on their home turf at Old Trafford.
