The report adds the 26-year-old's £50.5m ($66m/€60m) release clause expires on July 20 but Barca have 'managed to negotiate an extension for a few more weeks'. Despite the club's well-known <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/barcelona-nine-first-team-stars-register-la-liga-hansi-flick/blt080d0f292bb47ae2" target="_blank">financial issues</a>, they are reportedly ready to offer the attacking midfielder a six-year deal - with a salary that rises after the first two seasons. Olmo spent nearly seven years at Barcelona's academy between 2007-2014 before joining Dinamo Zagreb.
