The Manchester City winger was a surprise omission from the Three Lions' squad for the tournament and is making the most of the time off by enjoying the Italian sun. Posting on his Instagram story, Grealish showed himself playing football on a training pitch owned by Juventus with the caption: "8pm, 25 degrees, perfect."

WHAT HAPPENED?

The pitch is part of the Juventus academy's facilities, likely for one of their youngest academy teams. It is probable that Grealish got permission from the club to practice his football whilst on holiday in Italy, rather than him joining the Bianconeri.

THE EXPLANATION

Grealish only scored two goals and registered two assists in the Premier League last season.
