Pep Guardiola claims he would NOT make same decision as Jurgen Klopp after ex-Liverpool coach's controversial turn to Red Bull role

<p>Earlier this month, Red Bull confirmed that ex-Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will join the organisation as their <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jurgen-klopp-red-bull-salary-revealed-liverpool-boss-agreement-new-deal/blt97b55c65da46d0da#csfb98717e5ce017c7" target="_blank">Global Head of Soccer</a>. In his new role, Klopp will support the coaches of RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and the New York Red Bulls, among other clubs in their extensive network. His focus will be on further developing Red Bull's playing philosophy while leveraging his network in scouting to identify coaches and young talent.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>While the German has opted to take an executive role, his former rival Guardiola claimed he has no such plans to leave coaching. <p>When asked if he would take up a similar role to Klopp, the Manchester City manager replied, "I like the green grass. To be the man in the tie, I do not like it. I would criticise my manager a lot! I can't do it. Still, I like coming here in the morning to work - I love it! This is the main reason I am a manager. I am thinking about Wolves on Sunday and the messages I have to tell them (the players), the images I have to see, the training I have to prepare. I want to beat Wolves desperately."</p>
