Madrid are interested in holding onto Ancelotti, whose deal expires at the end of the season. According to <a href="https://www.relevo.com/futbol/liga-primera/real-madrid-quiere-atar-renovacion-20231127145131-nt.html" target="_blank">Relevo</a>, Los Blancos plan on beginning contract talks in the New Year, and are encouraged by the team's performances so far this season. They are prepared to put a two-year contract on the table for the 64-year-old.

I’m proud that one of the best international teams in the world like Brazil is linked to me, that gives me a lot of pride. "But I have a contract until 30 June... I repeat, my future will soon be known. I am here for at least six more months. Am I waiting until the last day of my contract for a renewal offer from Real Madrid? Yes.”

The Madrid boss will oversee Los Blancos as they take on Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday. Beyond that, his future remains to be seen.
