<p>The 25-year-old responded to a report by Swedish media that claimed police are investigating an alleged rape at a hotel that he recently stayed at with friends. Mbappe stayed at the Bank Hotel in Stockholm from Wednesday to Friday last week, and <a href="https://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/jQmwOA/valdtakt-utreds-efter-kylian-mbappes-sverigebesok" target="_blank">Aftonbladet</a> report that police are investigating an incident that took place on Thursday night.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Mbappe took to X on Monday afternoon to dismiss the report as "fake news", and said he isn't surprised by the timing of it. On Tuesday, a hearing will take place into £46 million (€55m) that Paris Saint-Germain <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kylian-mbappe-message-psg-real-madrid-star-unpaid-wages/blt084ffeb1aa49e325" target="_blank">have been ordered to pay Mbappe</a> in unpaid bonuses and wages.</p>
