In a clash between two English Championship heavyweight sides, USMNT stars Josh Sargent and Brenden Aaronson went head-to-head as Norwich City drew Leeds United 1-1 Tuesday afternoon.Sargent handed Leeds an early lead, scoring from the penalty spot just 15 minutes into the match, but Leeds leveled through Largie Ramazani in the 60th minute, with the two strikes being the of the evening.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Sargent banked his third goal of the season in the game, to add to his three assists, making it six goal-contributions in seven matches so far this season for the Canaries.Aaronson, meanwhile, was blanked in the midfield as he struggled from the No. 10 role against a tough Norwich defense. He completed 20 of 26 total passes, registering just 49 touched across his 90 minutes on the pitch.With the result ending in a draw, Leeds remain fourth in the standings on 15 points, while Norwich sit in 10th with 12 themselves.

In the two sides last meeting in May 2024, Leeds thrashed the Canaries 4-0 in the second leg of a two-legged playoff in the fight for promotion to the English Premier League last season.
