<p>Cucurella is lucky that Chelsea, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-player-ratings-vs-tottenham-cole-palmer-title-race/blt013b7972dcf39b86" target="_blank">with help from a Cole Palmer brace</a>, did enough to overturn their poor start and move closer to league leaders Liverpool. The Blues also overtook Arsenal <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/gutted-mikel-arteta-arsenal-denied-really-dominant-win-fulham-millimetres/bltcfd3a1f7431ebd3e" target="_blank">who stumbled at Fulham earlier in the day</a> to give themselves a two-point cushion in second place. Cucurella has had a strong start to the season but today's mishaps could have undone a lot of his previously impressive work.</p>
