The clash against Salford marked the return of Red Dragons talisman Paul Mullin, who featured in Phil Parksinson's starting line-up for the first time in the 2024-25 campaign. Mullin underwent <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/paul-mullin-wrexham-league-one-spinal-surgery-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-huge-blow/bltd0efbd1ec12c552d" target="_blank">back surgery</a> in the summer and had been used only as a substitute until Tuesday's game. The Welsh forward announced his arrival with a bang as he broke the deadlock for his side.
