WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Real Madrid fans will be delighted to see Vinicius back in action as Ancelotti's side aim for silverware in 2024. The team start the year at the top of La Liga but level on points with surprise package Girona. Vinicius is a key player for Los Blancos and will add to their attacking threat alongside Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo. He has six goals and three assists in all competitions so far this season and will be out to add to his tally, starting against Mallorca on Wednesday.</p>

<p>Real Madrid have not lost any of their last 18 home games in all competitions and, should they go unbeaten against Mallorca, it would equal their best home run with Carlo Ancelotti in charge (19 between April 2022 and February 2023).</p>
