<p>Juventus began their Serie A 2024-25 campaign with a thrilling 6-3 win at Sassuolo on Sunday. Goals from Chiara Beccari, Cristiana Girelli, Valentina Bergamaschi, Sofia Cantore, Amalie Vangsgaard, and Lehmann secured them all three points - while Lena Clelland, Samantha Fisher and Valentina Gallazzi scored for the hosts.</p>

WHAT JUVENTUS SAID

<p>Lehmann <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/juventus-confirm-alisha-lehmann-transfer-boyfriend-douglas-luiz/bltf2156736ea619b50" target="_blank">swapped Aston Villa for Juventus</a> earlier this summer and so far she has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/alisha-lehmann-first-juventus-trophy-swiss-star-revels-women-s-cup-final-victory-palmeiras-u-s-tour/bltd01ddd9ba3b94b94" target="_blank">made a good start at the Italian side</a>. While the Swiss international is not a starter at present, having coming off the bench against Sassuolo, if she continues to make an impact on the pitch, she could get a more prominent role as Juventus try to win the Serie A title.</p>

<p>Lehmann's Juventus side are next in Serie A action against Como on September 14. Both teams won their opening league fixtures so an exciting match should be in store.</p>
