WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Some 12 months on and the pair are now preparing to welcome a new arrival into their family. Mewis has previously spoken of Kerr being “everything” to her, adding that the 31-year-old Chelsea star is her  “biggest supporter, always listening to me nag and complain, all of my crazy antics”.</p>

<p>News of the “Mewis-Kerr baby coming 2025!” has given Australian superstar Kerr something to smile about, as she has been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/chelsea-sensation-sam-kerr-update-acl-recovery-trophy-targets-long-term-future-plans/bltebcdb4699036e626" target="_blank">stuck on the sidelines since suffering knee ligament damage</a> in January 2024.
