<p>Ronaldo is into the last few months of his Al-Nassr deal but it is expected he will extend his stay in the Middle East, rather than linking up with long-time rival Messi at Miami.</p>

<p>Since Ronaldo left Manchester United for Al-Nassr in 2023, the 40-year-old has scored a remarkable 86 goals and bagged 19 assists in just 97 appearances. Messi, meanwhile, has hit 38 goals and 20 assists in 44 Inter Miami games after joining from Paris Saint-Germain.</p>
