<p>Goals from Kane and Muller secured Bayern their second-straight Bundesliga win of the season in their first home match in front of their fans on Sunday. In doing so, Muller brought up his 710th appearance for the club - making him the outright record appearance holder. That prompted the England captain, who opened his goalscoring account for 2024-25 in the<a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/harry-kane-bayern-munich-freiburg-win-england-man-thomas-muller-michael-olise-serge-gnabry/blt334221b3b529dbf8" target="_blank"> 2-0 victory over Freiburg</a>, to share some kind words about the German veteran.</p>

WHAT HARRY KANE SAID

<p>Muller is a Bayern legend. He has had 17 seasons there, is a record 12-time Bundesliga winner, and has won a whopping 32 trophies with the club. Plus, he is still only 35, so there could yet be more success to come for the one-club man.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>After the international break, which runs over the next fortnight, Kane and Muller will return to action for Bayern in the Bundesliga away to Holstein Kiel on September 14.</p>
