Toney made the sensational move from Brentford to Al-Ahli as the Saudi Pro League side looked to sign a striker. The English forward had been competing with Napoli's Victor Osimhen to make the move to Saudi and Al-Ahli decided to take on a punt on the Brentford striker.

WHAT HAPPENED?

After going goalless through his first two games for Al-Ahli, Toney turned up in style against Damac in his third official game for the side, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/cristiano-ronaldo-sadio-mane-al-nassr-steven-gerrard-al-ettifaq-georginio-wijnaldum/bltbd714a2f4767d8b2" target="_blank">scoring twice to secure a 4-2 win for Al-Ahli</a>. It was then revealed by an official Al-Ahli cameraman, who had been photographing the match from the sideline, that Toney had promised him on WhatsApp that he would score two goals in Al-Ahli's next match.
