The American has been without a job since being <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/jesse-marsch-sacked-leeds-part-ways-manager/blt1b31e69500c33180" target="_blank">sacked by Leeds United last February.</a>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<a href="https://x.com/RobDorsettSky/status/1742207474357153830?s=20" target="_blank">Sky Sports News</a> adds that in addition to Marsch, England Under-21 boss Lee Carsley, ex-Sunderland coach Tony Mowbray and former Nottingham Forest gaffer Steve Cooper make up the shortlist. The four-man list will be narrowed down, but Cooper is unlikely to entertain an approach, as he'd rather wait for an opening in the Premier League.

The Foxes would eventually be relegation <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/frank-lampard-dean-smith-mls-charlotte-fc-aston-villa/blte7a0750089d618c7" target="_blank">under the stewardship of Dean Smith</a>, who is now in charge of Charlotte FC.
